Istanbul Medipol University is a private university located in Istanbul, Turkey. The university was founded in 2009 by the Turkey Education, Health and Research Foundation, of which Fahrettin Koca is the founder. The decision to establish the university was published in the Official Gazette with the number 27281 on July 7, 2009.
The university consists of 12 faculties, 5 institutes, and 4 vocational schools. There are 42,894 registered students studying at the university, including 27,657 undergraduate students, 1,974 graduate students, and 12,759 associate degree students. The number of foreign students studying at the university is 7,779. The university has 1,371 faculty members teaching and 2,538 administrative staff.
