ANTALYA SCIENCE UNIVERSITY

Antalya Science University (formerly known as International Antalya University) is the second university established in Antalya and the first foundation university, according to the Official Gazette decision dated July 21, 2010. The university was established by Gaye Education Health Sports and Environment Foundation and began accepting students in the 2012-13 academic year, with Prof. Dr. İsmail Yüksek as the rector.

According to the Official Gazette, the university is composed of 6 faculties (Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Communication and Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture), 4 schools (School of Civil Aviation, School of Foreign Languages, School of Justice Vocational School and Vocational School), and 2 institutes (Institute of Social Sciences, Institute of Science). Transportation to the school is provided by private buses and public transportation. The language of instruction is English, and the university has students from 83 countries. The first graduates were awarded their diplomas in 2017.

Currently, the university operates with a central campus consisting of one rectorate, two educational buildings, and one dormitory building, as well as a city campus offering preparatory and graduate programs. The women’s dormitory is located on the central campus, while the men’s dormitory is located in the Döşemealtı district where the school is located.
